When civilisation ends as we know it, David Chase records his trek through the wilderness to a refugee camp in the hopes of a good book deal. As he faces challenges along the way, all he realises is that the end of the world isn't quite what he thought it would be.

The ending was a work around caused by not having the time to film the last part of the script.
