This movie depicted a situation that could have easily take place in the same point of history as the release of the movie. While there is currently hostility in the middle east, this movie showed the softer side, and that youth are the open minded and can change point of views and hatred that their family and community cast upon them. It showed stereotypes and how the young can overcome them and see through to the individual. A+.

This is a very well thought out film, that had a lot of effort put into it. Being that it was a Senior project for a CSUN Film student, it dosn't look like the type of film you'd see in a movie theater.

The story is touching, and dispite the so-so actors, and the not so good film quality, and the chopping editing (in some spots), it made me tear up and almost cry. It's deffinitly a story that deserves a better treatment, and a longer format.

I haven't seen this movie, but I imagine that it is powerful. I know the character who plays Amir, and I recognize him as an up-and-coming Armenian actor. This is a truly great film for its intention of bringing the raging conflict of the Israeli-Palestine border to a different level; one that can reach many of us but stays true to the original story of these friends. I believe that many of us can relate to this situation, in our daily lives. We also swallow the news media's depiction of the crisis without other information or being able to recognize our own selves anymore. But the Palestinian peoples have much to teach us about humanity in the world and recognizing our place in the creation of it.

This film is unique in the way that it views the Middle East conflict in a way that isn't explored in other films; through the teenagers who live there. A lot of films are very weighted on a side but this film attempts to be neutral and see things from both sides.
