In truth, I was only able to stomach 20 minutes of the first episode. The acting was painfully wooden. Most of the cast had extremely strong foreign accents, from all over the place, and were poorly cast for their roles. For example, the head of the protagonist's police unit would have been convincing as a prostitute or stripper, but as not a high ranking officer. I kept thinking "Who did she sleep with to get this part?". The sound quality was dreadful, dim, uneven, and full of noise. The episode I tried to watch was not even at the production level of a high school attempt at film making. Plot, what plot? The person who gave this a glowing review must either be a masochist or relative.

This is one of those REALLY low budget offerings that is so badly directed, framed...etc... you simply cannot watch. Yes... it's THAT bad. The 80's pornos were better even some of the ones shot on VHS tape. The sound is bad... Had they used iphones the quality would have been better.

I would highly recommend WISP to audiences that enjoy Crime/Detective/Drama series. With a small cast, the feel is more intimate. You begin feeling a connection with certain characters. An interesting mix; yet the cast blends well into the storyline. The feel is a cross between a major network show mixed with a reality show touch. Almost like Daytime Drama; but better. The intro song and graphics are well done. I feel this series will build a strong cult following. I've yet to see the most recent episode. However, the last had me hanging in suspense. Similar to awaiting a new season premiere. Or, catching your favorite show regularly. Until the next upcoming episode; I'll be watching my downloaded episodes. I look forward to seeing more of WISP. And, more of Paula Marcenaro Solinger's acting.

    Thumbs UP!
