Althea explains John's behavior as being a result of his marriage to Jessica, but Edna says that his reaction to Nick has been extreme, and there comes a time when people should stop blaming others for their own actions. Steve and Carolee discuss Karen's reaction to the news of Matt and Maggie's second honeymoon. Carolee reiterates that she wants more children. Karen drops by Matt's office wanting to babysit Greta while he and Maggie are in Trinidad, but she's irritated to learn that Greta is going on the trip, too.
