Short summary

Up-and-coming R&B singer Sterling travels from Mississippi to Los Angeles in search of her dreams. She soon ends up down and out, sleeping in her car, and taking the first job that comes her way. Story of young naive woman moving out to LA to work in the music industry. Things seem too good to be true at first...meets a nice friend and music producer, gets a job easily, etc. but then things get tougher and she sees the nasty underside of the industry. Christina Johnson is great as Sterling, I could really relate to her as a character. Wish that there was more of Dylan Mooney (he plays a homeless guy, and does a great job, but its kinda a bit role). This is obviously a low-budget production, and I was sometimes surprised that it calls itself Christian because of the profanity and occasional but intense violence. But overall I'd recommend it.
