Moratorium is the story of Nate, a young, hard working man, burdened with the responsibility of taking care of his older brother, Daniel. Nate, against his better judgment, decides to drive through the night and take Daniel to see his son. After being stuck in traffic for a stretch of time, the claustrophobia exacerbates Daniel's sense of reality, and he escapes the car in a state of panic, heading towards his son. Nate chases after Daniel, unsure of how the visit will unfold.
