Red is an adventure/comedy, interactive, visual novel about a transfer student named Zeth Flynn who moves to Astroville to study at Luna University. On his first day, he bumps into the most popular girl on campus, who then invites him to her house party. What he does not know is the decision he makes will change his life forever. You will decide his fate.

All the characters names have meaning, including the colors chosen. Zeth means investigator in Greek and Flynn means red in Irish. Quinn means wolf, hound, and chief in Irish. Hunter means pursuer in Old English. Zavrina means princess in English. De Clare is a name of an English family that became the wealthiest family in the 13th century.

Red is based on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood. When put into perspective, Zeth Flynn is Little Red Riding Hood, Quinn Hunter is the wolf, and Zavrina de Clare is the grandmother.
