A rather run of the mill festive episode brighten up by Burt Kwouk and Stephen Lewis.

Auntie Wainwright has got Smiler dressed as Father Christmas, Tom as an elf and both being taken on Entwistle's truck to publicise a visit to Santa's Grotto before he gets dragged by the truck after a mishap. Smiler's look of exasperation is priceless. The two bobbies think the men are disposing the body of Father Christmas, but it is only Smiler weary after being dragged down the road, then later Santa's sleigh getting out of control with Smiler and Tom on it.

Glenda tries to help Barry get over being reflective about infinity and the big bang as he plays golf. She implores him to hit the golf ball with determination only for Barry's boss to think he has copied his swing.

As the title rolls Clegg wishes all a Merry Entwistle and Jackson Day.
