It also was the last film of the series directed by Harald Reinl (he directed the first one, Der Frosch mit der Maske (1959) and the last appearance of his wife Karin Dor. On the cover of the US video release Harald Leipnitz was credited as 'Harold Leipnitz'.
Film debut of Uschi Glas. As her Bavarian accent was quite strong back then (she later managed to hide it more and more), she was dubbed by another actress in this film. However, her original voice can be heard briefly in the theatrical trailer.
