Like the only other Powers Kids comedy I have seen, this is a split reel comedy of such a negligible length and seemingly offhand construction that it might seem to be little more than a home movie. That is, until you recognize the careful editing. Then you notice the deliberate pace of the comedy. Unlike the better-recalled comedies of the era -- the slapstick efforts -- this short allows the audience to get ahead of the adults on the screen and laugh at them Actually, you don't notice that until it's over. Until then, you're busy chuckling at the antics. I'm unsure where you'll get a chance to see this, but the Library of Congress has a copy. Good luck.
