Darrin gives Samantha a gift of a bracelet in her vow not to do witchcraft. He gives it to her anyway despite Samantha being caught in the act of performing witchcraft just seconds before - the witchcraft all in the sake of keeping the peace with Darrin's mother, who is minutes away from coming on a surprise visit - as he really wanted Samantha to have the bracelet just for being who she is.
