Ayna (2014) watch online HD

This beautifully done low budget independent film has a real story to tell about a journey of a young man trying to find himself and his pulled many different ways by family, responsibilities, etc. He feels he lacks motivation and feels he is lost. Even his friends wonder where he is and are concerned about his welfare. He meets a girl in a club by the name of Deniz and a new path is carved for him to find out what is inside and what he truly wants.

This story is very relate-able worldwide with the millions of young adults going to college and exploring their existence and what their true calling in life is or even what do they really want to do. This wonderfully shot story takes the audience through the different phases in this journey. Although I do not speak the film's native language, I can understand the actors making their way to the final goal and watching their journey rather than the subtitles, was very enjoyable.

I love watching short movies once in a while, because some of them have greater impact on me than one 3 hours motion picture. It is the short message that really matters. Even a few minutes can change your point of view, your way of thinking and your perspective on other people. That's why I LIKED "The Mirror"!

Through the main protagonist Akin, young director Selcen Yilmazoglu, presents how life can wake us up from our fantasies to demonstrate the cold-blooded reality, and that the hardest adventure we need to take is the recognition of our selves. "The Mirror" uses current social circumstances in Turkey as a background and carries a strong message about accepting life, even when you know that some things don't always go as you wanted.

Although this short film is an independent and relatively low-budget, everything about it is done very professional, not only the acting but also the cinematography and the music. I give it a 9/10!
