Short summary

Witherton puts a request in for compassionate leave, a paperwork mix-up sees an unlikely candidate volunteer for a dangerous mission, and Potts causes mayhem in the map room.

    And it really is scraping the bottom of the barrel in this initial episode as the main comedy set-piece is the exposure of a man's bare backside. Sadly, it doesn't get any better.

    No jokes, silly contrived stories and hammy performances from all the cast, mainly Frankie himself trying to pad out the shows with his usual, "no..er...stop it...titter not..missus,' business. It worked on the series of 'Up Pompeii' but that was actually quite funny at times. This isn't and all of Frankie's charm can't save this mess.

    For want of a plot, this episode comprises of Frankie dressing up as his lookalike officer and trying to avoid been sent on a dangerous assignment. It all concludes with the backside denouncement. All in all, a real bunch of arse....
