It seems that every show set in WW2 has to have an unexploded bomb story at some point. But in this case, the whole series is a bomb and like the one in this episode, it's a complete dud too.

Very predictable and unfunny from start to finish, you do hope that the bomb will go off and finish off the cast and programme as the tediousness sets in.

Lots of mugging by Frankie for the camera and ham-fisted comedy from the rest of the crew propel this to the top of the least amusing WW2 shows of all time. Even Hogan's Heroes was funnier! Something I thought I would never, ever say!
