«Elì, Elì, lemà sabactàni?» are the last Jesus Christ words for evangelists Matthew and Mark. These words means «My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?», but for Luke the last Jesus Christ words are different: on the cross Jesus said, «Father, into your hands I commend my spirit». This short film would inhabit the place of this difference. 'Adagio Jean Jaurès' is an experimental short film made exclusively with analogue photographs (ILFORD FP4 Plus 125/22°). On the surface of some photographs we have scratched with a cutter the Tenti's verses for producing a void inside the fullness of the form; these scratches are a negative, an informal gesture (Bataille) that works as burglary of form and fullness.
