Trailers "Dragostea Adevarata (2015)"

The two main characters in "Dragostea Adevarata", Greta Schröder and Max Schreck, were named after the lead actors in the 1922 film "Nosferatu" which is the oldest existing Dracula movie. The title of the film itself is in Romanian, the language spoken in Transylvania, and translates to "true love"

Director Michael J. Doyle cast Justin DeWeerd as Max Schreck in "Dragostea Adevarata" without knowing if he could pull off the performance he wanted. He was relieved when Justin did.

On the set of "Dragostea Adevarata" three candles were used in the dinner scene. One candle per angle. This was done so that the candles wouldn't change size from shot to shot.

The first shot filmed of "Dragostea Adevarata" in which Greta and Max enter the restaurant took 10 takes due to the green screen effect needing to be very accurate in order to work.

The waiter in "Dragostea Adevarata" was played by Bronwyn Klein's brother, Nathan Klein.

Though the waiter's dialogue in "Dragostea Adevarata" was scripted, a lot of it was ad-libbed by Nathan Klein, including the restaurant's name "Nosferatu." and his character's name "Edward".

The total amount of raw footage filmed during the production of "Dragostea Adevarata" had a runtime of 2 hrs. 7 mins. and 53 secs and was filmed over 2 afternoons, amounting to 12 hours.

Due to having only one wall of green screen on the set of "Dragostea Adevarata" the multiple camera angles were achieved by simply moving a actors and set pieces, rather then the green screen itself.

The camera used to film "Dragostea Adevarata" was the same camera used for "Brittany Luckhurst and Michael J. Doyle's Halloween" a short fan-film by Michael J. Doyle.
