Signs of real and imaginary landscapes create layers of images in which we return to known places and watch shadows, branches, and grass in the wind. The planes of the earth and the sky are torn away from each other; the memory of one bites into the newly emerging horizon. The degradation of the image occurs because of interruptions in the flow of data in MPEG format, where certain key information is removed and the software is forced to reinterpret its view of the world.
