Kevin's idea for this video came from the films 976-Evil, Evilspeak, and The Video Dead. Basically, a person finds some hidden abandoned obscure object, hiding in a stock room of, say, a video store, or a liquor store, or a basement of a school, and it becomes a source of evil that helps them get revenge, as they are picked upon. Kevin asked Saul Ravencraft if the video would still work if the animation erased over the witchcraft sigil, and Saul stated that it was the focus and participation of the viewer mattered, not the sigil.
