Kevin Neece's friends weren't so much angry about him venting into a cartoon. They were angry because he originally used the girl's name at the end of it and took it to the local news, dragging them all into it. Some people just don't want to be outed or forced to deal with this issue, and simply need the private help and support of their friends in their own way.
