Two versions of "The Price is Right" were produced for Australian television in the 1950s. This is the Melbourne version, the other version (which ran longer and debuted earlier) was produced and aired in Sydney.
This series ran from 10 August 1958 to 23 November 1958, for a total of 16 episodes. It was broadcast on Sundays at 5:30PM. Following the end of the series, a panel discussion series moved into the time-slot.
