One of the most revealing films I have seen of the Afghan situation. It reflects my own experience of filming with local communities in Iraq. Persistence and trust built over two years, gave this crew unique access to the Afghan community. This film takes you on a journey that no short term, white western male crew could even dream to take, though many have tried. It does not shy away from any complexity, or try add any POV, other than that of the film maker's difficulty with the work and acceptance by her own country. It also does not shy away from occupying soldiers experience on the ground and showing, rather telling you what they deal with. Highly recommend
