Indeed, the remarkable, pastoral and picturesque beauty is most splendidly presented. The short also showcases original musical theatre sung by a lyric tenor with symphonic accompaniment and American Sign Language. Honored in 2015 by the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, it emanates from an original Off Broadway production of Theatre in Motion of the New York City/New Jersey area, featuring creative and performing artists with and without disabilities.

It took 16 years, from 1857 - 1873, to complete the fully man-made Central Park, designed and created by the brilliant, first Architect in Chief, Frederick Law Olmsted, and his equally brilliant landscape partner, Calvert Vaux.

After Olmsted retired, his man-made landscape architecture legacy was carried on exquisitely into the twentieth century by the Olmsted Brothers Firm, headed by his sons, Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr., and his half-brother, John Charles Olmsted.

"The Master List of Design Projects of the Olmsted Firm 1857 - 1950" reveals that the firm participated in 5,500 design ventures. Almost every American, even unknowingly, has beheld a beautiful Olmsted landscape.

Frederick Law Olmsted designed the exquisite grounds for the famous 250-room mansion, Biltmore, the palatial home of George Vanderbilt in Asheville, North Carolina, completed in 1895.
