Short summary

In the premiere on DuMont, Morey's guests at the Silver Swan Cafe are singer Vic Damone, and the dance team of Mary Raye and Naldi. Morey performs "Yuk a Puk"C with his cello, Carney does impressions of trees, Damone sings "So In Love,", and joins Amsterdam and Carney in a drama Netwon wrote. Morey introduces columnist Earl Wilson in the audience.

First episode to air on the Dumont Television Network.

With the move to Dumont, the nightclub club is now called the Silver Swan Cafe, Carney's character becomes Newton, the waiter, and Suzann becomes Jackie, the cigarette girl.
