Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons The Inquisition (1967–1968) watch online HD

Here it is, the one Captain Scarlet episode I really don't like. It's what we get for a series finale, ellipsis that it is. And to top it off, it's a clip show. Part of why the 'The Inquisition' is such a disappointment is because it directly follows 'Attack on Cloudbase', which is a much bolder attempt at giving the show an ending.

Anyhoo, here's how it goes down. Captain Blue wakes up on Cloudbase after being drugged and is grilled by some guy from Spectrum intelligence. In order to prove his identity (without giving away sensitive codes and whatnot), Blue regales his interrogator (and us) with tales of past missions. Not to spoil anything, but something major happens, it was all a ruse, and Captain Scarlet shows up to take Blue back to safety.

The show ends and that's it.

It just feels like a cop-out. They've toyed with ideas on ways this show could end, but milquetoast isn't the way to go. It really does feel like they didn't know how to end it, and you can't help but feel ripped off.
