Fearing he wouldn't come home from Vietnam, she told him that the child was a boy, and when he died, she continued to pretend "Nicky" was a girl because it was her last tie to her husband. A skeptical Dwayne continues to probe, firing off one question after another. Cathy loses her temper. She tells him that she and her baby just want to be left alone.
