Short summary

The comedy segment is rejected Christmas TV specials. Vlasta, billed as the "International Queen of Polka", first performs "Roll Out the Barrel" with the band. During her interview, she talks about her life; she was known as the Shirley Temple of Czechoslovakia as a child star, and her family later emigrated to the US. She also talks about how she wrote songs and her husband gave her feedback. She then performs her composition "The Johnny Carson Polka". Alan King talks about the book he did with Mimi Sheraton about food, and what he calls "the pleasures of taste". He says that his mother was not a good cook, and his wife of 39 years doesn't cook at all. He also tells many jokes about restaurants. Spanish actress Ana Obregón is announced but does not appear due to lack of time.
