Short summary
Ruth becomes desperate and uses Ettie to get a message out to Arnie. Pippa feels Simon is holding her down, so she tries to hoard him off on Jenny, whose Grandmother resorts back to her devious ways, prompting Jenny to finally try and leave. During the night, a mysterious stranger tries to suffocate Mrs. Hartley. Joyce tries to cook Mervin dinner for the first time, but a mix up and a burnt pan result in an argument between them.
