Donna (Donna Reed) and Alex (Carl Betz) return home from a dinner party to learn that neighbor Kathleen Freeman (as Celia Wilgus) almost called the police, due to a noisy "party" at the Stone's house. Mary (Shelley Fabares) confesses, "Some of my friends stopped by," including a bongo drummer. Their parents warn Mary and Jeff (Paul Peterson), "People expect a doctor and his family to set an example." So, when Jeff injures his arm in the drummer's stolen car, he's afraid to see his father for treatment. Posing as "John Smith", he goes to another pediatrician...
