The trailer for this short was so intriguing that I had to view the whole movie. The storyline, I believe, is semi-factual and very interesting. A talented young artist is not getting any recognition for his work although he can paint as well as or better than more popular ones. Through his knowledge of science he is able to produce paintings that rival the masters. In the quick 17 minutes, the actors bring their characters to life and we see decades pass. This is a period piece and the film is staged and shot beautifully, and edited cleverly. Qudos to the writer/director/editor, Gabriella Loutfi who is a very talented student filmmaker, making her debut.
