Short summary
Legally Wed is a gay love story based on true events. Following the death of their mother, Mary Catherine's conservative views on gay relationships caused a rift between her and her brother, Sean, and his long-time partner, David. The story ultimately has a happy ending when the estranged sister finds a way to demonstrate her love and respect to both Sean and David. This is a short film by first time director, Michael Solorio.
The civil ceremony scene was coincidentally filmed on the actor playing David's actual wedding anniversary. His real life wife is happy to share their anniversary date with his new husband, Sean.
