A drama centred on three people: Sarah is a barista who finds the love of her life in Mark. Her mother Barbara depends on Mark to keep her in Sarah's life while resenting her daughter's deep love for him. When severely traumatised by the sudden death of Mark Sarah's relationship with her mother finally cracks. Now faced with losing her struggle to cope Sarah feels Mark's presence return. Based on true events Transition is the story of a love that transcends this realm and the strength of human character in survival.

The actor who plays 'simon says' (the cheesey medium) is actually a school teacher.

The film is shot on location in Durham, Cramlington, Seaton Delaval, Birtley and Seahouses all in the North East of England, UK.

NEWS 15.12.17: The World Premiere of Transition will be at the International Filmmaker Festival of World Cinema in London on Thursday 15 February at 10:40hrs at Crown Plaza London Docklands and a presentation ceremony will take place on Saturday, Feb 17 2018 at 5:00 PM-11:55 PM.

As well as being based on true events, most of the major characters written were based on real life people. One scene in the film was written true to a real life experience that the writer based the whole movie around.
