Ripe For Murder is a dark comedy about long time detective Phillip Green. Phillip has been working on the "Lakeshear Slasher" murder case for months. He's had no leads and the ongoing stress from the investigation has him questioning everything. He's disturbed so badly by the case that he starts seeing things, and is forced to talk to the precinct shrink. Olivia Sandman talks with Phillip and learns that its not the murders that is giving Phillip a hard time, but another obsession.
