Short summary

Exiled mobster Frank Richie (Boone) agrees to come back to the U.S. to testify against his Mafia associates, if he is allowed to spend one hour with his estranged son. But many in the organization are determined that he never make it back to the States alive. Not trusting anyone, he asks an apparently innocent young woman (Devon) to assist him.

As far as I remember, I don't think Richard Boone ever played a mobster, or maybe I am wrong. I know he is used to heavy characters, but strangely, I did not imagine him as a mafia man. Here, he doesn't look like a gang leader, and I prefer admire his performance as a simple actor, not a gangster. I watch him as a simple drama character. And, as usual, he is more than convincing. You now the topic, this mobster who accepts to testify against his own organization and who has to trust the people around him whilst he has to travel in his escape. The audience guess that, among the folks he will meet along his trip back to the USA, there will be some killers. Don't see this story as an action packed tale, but as a good suspense yarn, efficient, sharp and tasteful.
