Jeb the dog is depressed because he's fallen for Princess the Dog and her puppies, but Princess's owner, Mrs. Burns, calls Jeb a pound mutt and blocks their romance -- even though Mrs. Burns' little boy, Timmy, is all for it. When Kaitlin does a dog show photo session, Jeb and Princess sneak into the darkroom. Mrs. Burns is furious and the puppies run wild.
