Future Idiots didn't see this music video until it was fully animated. They originally told Zachary Strobel to create a music video to their hit single, "Keyra Augustina" about their band's drummer falling in love with a girl. Once Strobel emailed them the finished video, the band was so impressed with the high-quality animation and added subplot about the ex-boyfriend that they lost all contact with Strobel because they thought they would have to pay him a fortune for his work. After a month with no response from any of the band's members on the video's release, Strobel eventually uploaded the music video to his "Ooozetoons!" YouTube channel in order for it to "see the light of day." Almost three years later, Future Idiots eventually uploaded the video to their YouTube channel on May 18, 2014 giving Strobel the credit he belatedly deserved.
