But on November 2nd, 2017, Writer/ Director/ Actor Grey Rich managed to get one last scene done for the film that was originally cut from the film, but was added so it would keep the film from going what he described "too fast that the audience would not be able to follow along. Plus it would make more sense." The scene is where Mike Schmidt is in his home and researches the Golden Freddy incident. It is described as one of Grey's favorite scenes in the film.
