The quality in this season is consistently high that it's easy to take it for granted sometimes. This episode delivers more of the same thrills and clever dialogue while also feeling like a set up for the final two episodes. When this season started, I thought introducing Nadeem's storyline wouldn't interest me but I am now so engaged in his character and the direction they have taken him. The final 5 minutes are testament to his good character development and Jay Ali's continually high quality performance

Real good guys in danger. Real consequences for doing the right thing. A villain that destroys the lives of everyone around him (Criminal Intent was fantastic, but Vincent turns Kingpin into a villain of destruction, not just power.) Just finished episode 11 and wow! The stakes were really raised and I can't wait to see who makes it out alive.

The season continues to jump from 7/10s to 9/10s, because of the set-up followed by the climax pattern. Not that I have a problem with this style, it's just something worth knowing/recognizing.

The highlight of this episode, for me, was the reunion between Matt, Karen and Foggy. It was a delightful moment and is the scene the title is referencing. Other great scenes include Matt and Karen hiding from the dangerous FBI, with help from sister Maggie (Matt's mother). Speaking of her, I really felt that moment when she finds out father Lantom was dead. I really love what this season has done with those two characters and the themes or morality and religion. Dex is trying his best to control his rage with the advice he received from Fisk: letting a "primal scream" out, however Fisk has other plans, releasing his rage on other people, like the scene where he beats a man to death after receiving news about Nadeem turning on him. That seemed to be a subtle way to show Fisk is back to his season 1 self.

The final few minutes involving Nadeem protecting his family from Fisk are extremely strong, and almost make it criminal to stop watching...so here I go, the last two episodes!

    Wish me luck.

I just don't understand how all of a sudden Dex becomes the super unbeatable, super releflexive, baton master! I mean seriously writers, from the psychotic but skilled agent with the endless inner conflicts to the anti superhero who spreads terror within seconds, there's a huge and when I say huge I mean gigantic leap. It's still a 9/ 10 but I give a 1 to this particular character.

I have enjoyed this series, and it is still the stand out of all the Marvel TV hero shows. It has been a very well executed plot, with the tension being cranked up further and further with every episode. I do have a few minor observations though. Watching Matt getting beaten badly in just about all of the first 9 episodes gets a little wearying. We get it. The evolution of "Dex" into the anti daredevil also takes a massive leap. One minute he's a a psychotic basket case, the next he's a skilled vigilante. There seems to be a big missing chunk of story here. Just a bit of nit picking,

This has been an incredible season but the one thing that brings it down is how annoying and stupid Karen is.

It is frustrating to see the good guys lose all the time....the criminal Dex cannot be bested in hand to hand combat by Matt...so why does he keep doing it and get many people killed...why doesn't he take a knife or a stick and eve if you don't want to kill him, just stab him in the leg or something...or why doesn't Nadeem just put a bullet in Fisk when he is in the apartment with him? Fisk gone, empire gone....what insane writing is this?

    Daredevil

Perpetually striking back and punching it's way up on the scorecard, Daredevil has managed to stay grounded with its Catholic morale and cut-throat politics. The narration is gripping if not thoroughly competent and narrows down the priorities to a more simplistic note amidst all the hokums of complications. The gut-wrenching and flamboyant storytelling respects both the space and range of the characters that makes it worth listening to.

It glorifies each tiny notion and characteristic of the characters that helps audience savour the moments aptly. It has a powerful antagonist that is valued and respected with its own three dimensional perspective that helps create a greater impact. On terms of performance the entire crew is giving their all in, especially Bernthal, Cox and D'Onofrio.

Cox is physically malleable and goes through distance in order to deliver the real experience on terms of all the physical sequences. Its characters itself is written with a hint of mythology inherited in it where its metabolism is his real strength. He gets beat up a lot, he is fueled with self-righteousness, he gets outsmarted a lot and yet the character never grows dry.

Dripping on the self awareness and resisting the preachings of his opinionated upbringing, it is a delight to watch him on both intellectual and physical level. It doesn't thrive on delivering the awe and delight, neither does it take its concept for granted; it certainly isn't commercial but fluid. The linear anthology of it is actually appealing where one-take hall fights and emotionally driven characters amps up the storyline.

    Season 03

Encircling the infamous antagonist Fisk's plot track, this chapter is a home run to the return of the series where it sets clocks again to zero going afar from the mythological detour taken in the second one, it is a realm to hold on to and to be learnt from.

    Reunion

It fuels entirely upon the screen play and is accurately titled as it blends in all the parallel tracks into one lane where from now on there is a linear storyline to follow that is equally sensible and electrifying.

This is supposed to be a comic-book adaptation, not the revival of the Holocaust. I mean COMIC is supposed to be fun. THIS is supposed to be fun for teenagers. But instead it's a 3 season (so far) head-butting between the 2 Egos of DD and WF gloom-fest. And yes, there is character development in the sense of personal history of loss, but they never enjoy themselves. Dios, I hope this isn't the future of fun. Again COMIC comes from FUN. And where's the creativity in keeping the same insipid morose villain for this long? Pff, sad childish snore-fest full of gratuitous violence along endless hall-ways.

Not even accidental by-standers have fun in this one. They die, yes. Bloody violent deaths. But they never have fun. No music either except the mood-track of gloom and loss. Pathetic stuff.

PS - Remember Tim Burton's Batman ? Or Sin City 1&2. That's FUN. And Dark. And glossy. THAT'S a Comic book adaptation. A good villain has FUN. He enjoys his path. Remember Nicholson's laugh as the Joker? Or Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin in Raimi's Spider-Man? Mickey Rourke's Ivan Vanko in Iron Man 2? THEY had some fun. A good hero also has FUN fighting the villain. Michael Keaton's Batman, Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man etc.. (2016) Preacher's Jesse Custer & Tulip O'Hare and the numerous villains in there, they had fun. Prince's Batman soundtrack? That's character. That's a COMIC BOOK.

Hahahahahahaha just watched the last episode. Way to end the season. Super creative. Déjà-vu season 1.

Solid 0 score for the writing + 1 point for tricking Scott Glenn to appear in the second season.

Update December 2018: Cancelled. Finally something funny about this :))

Another really wild episode of Daredevil this season. The first two were pretty boring, but this third season has taken the action and story to a completely different level.

And the violence is not over the top too. That is a mistake many shows make, but not this one.
