This here is a wonderfully entertaining, thirty-five minute visual essay from Arrow that has Alexandra Heller-Nicholas discussing the career of Abel Ferrara. The video essay pretty much covers every aspect of the controversial filmmakers career from his early shorts to his hardcore porn title, THE DRILLER KILLER and then all the way up to his latest film PASOLINI. If you're a fan of the director then it's doubtful you're going to learn anything new here but this is still a highly entertaining piece. Heller-Nicholas does a very good job at breaking down his career, going from one project to the next and calling out certain connections to all the films. If you're not familiar with Ferrara's work then this is a must-see as it gives you a great overview at everything he's done.
