"LONDON: A LOVE STORY" is a film about four very different music acts active in London today. Following their journey through interviews, rehearsals and gigs, the film documents their passion for, and dedication to, their work: Cabaret duo Bourgeois & Maurice, industry rock band Extradition Order, modern folk music storyteller Joe Murphy of Sergeant Buzfuz, and, the one and only, Dave Elvis. The film intertwines their different stories in a Robert Altman "Short Cuts" way, but is filtered through a Scandinavian dogma style. Equally important in the film is London itself, the city that nurtures talent and leaves room for artistic experiment that makes it one of the most creative and inspiring cities in the world. Inspired by Pedro Almodovar's 'joie de vivre' and Woody Allen's ode to New York, this film is last but not least a celebration of the hustle and bustle on the streets of London.
