The interaction between Perez and Tosh is so well done and both locations are beautiful! Fascinating to watch the characters play off each other, can't wait for the next episode!

We are watching the entire series for the 2nd time. It is just that good. Storylines, characters and scenery are what makes this show. We have several friends hooked on it now too.

The Norwegian aspect of the episode was great, the story was very deep, the Norwegian Secret Police, undercover officers etc. The dynamic between Shetland's finest and the Norwegian Police also very intriguing and interesting. Unfortunately when the setting reverts back to Shetland, it all feels a little stale. The six part format is perhaps drawing the story out a little too much, whereas Shetland had always been punchy and dramatic, it's become a little padded, two steps forward, three back. Superbly acted as always, great scenery, just a little long winded.

I loved this series previously, but I feel changing the format to a continuous storyline for 6 episodes (previously just 2, like Silent Witness) has really let both the characters, and the storyline down. On previous series, the characterisation was so well acted and demonstrated there was no need for such drawn out plots and red herrings. Also , it's becoming boring, which is a word I would never have used before to describe Shetland. I'll watch to the end because I have committed now, but please please please, producers, revert back to the spontaneous, yet reviting two episode story line. Love from a previous dedicated fan

No spoilers, but cant you all see who is the current killer? perez as always is a thoughtful detective but the writing has decreased in quality, & 6 epoisodes is frankly 3 too long.
