Short summary
Although Devon would rather have Michael on a Rembrandt forgery case in Cincinnati, he allows him to help a mechanic friend of Bonnie's, Elena Thomas, who's facing sabotage on the racetrack. Since Elena's top driver has been killed in an accident apparently caused by her faultiness, Michael volunteers to take the man's place.
The stock footage of the crash at the beginning is from an Indy car race at Phoenix International Raceway. The other racing scenes were filmed at Riverside International Raceway
