Short summary
A man struggles with his inner self as he processes what should have been.
Writer Wes Murrell included the bit about the detective Columbo, and it happened that actor Jerry Vogel had just been watching through the series, allowing him to really nail the caricature.
Shot in one day at a black box studio in St. Louis, Missouri.
The argument between Tara and Young Jerry was almost completely ad-lib. Director Carroll Keane had them improvise for several hours while filming other scenes, and by the time it came to shoot the argument scenes, they finished in minimal takes.
