» » Burke's Law Who Killed Purity Mather? (1963–1966)

Short summary

Prior to her apparent murder, a practicing witch sends Amos a message predicting her murder with a list of five suspects from the occult arts.

Purity says she is a direct descendant of Cotton Mather. He was one of the men who was accused of being a Warlock during the infamous Salem Witch Trials.

The name I.A. Bugg is an industry in-joke. The symbol of the show business labor union IATSE, which appears in the credits of most movies and TV shows, is commonly referred to as the "IA bug."

Mary Ann Mobley receives an "introducing" credit.

Janet Blair, Wally Cox, Charles Ruggles, link=nm0001699] and Gloria Swanson all receive 'Special Guest Stars In Alphabetical Order' credits.

Closing credits: The characters and events depicted in this photoplay are fictional. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
