Short summary

Veronica finds herself the target of a set-up when a secret underground society within Neptune High begins planting evidence to get her in trouble. Meanwhile, Veronica learns new information about Lilly's murder by eavesdropping on private conversations, and Aaron Echolls becomes concerned about his wife.

The episode title is "Clash of the Tritons", Harry Hamlin, who plays Aaron Echolls played in the original Gudarnas krig (1981).

When Veronica (Kristen Bell) is switching through radio frequencies (in her car) to eavesdrop on the counselor's conversation with Weevil (Francis Capra), the beginning of the track "Hip-Hop" by Dead Prez is played instead of the typical switching-noises.

The locker number in which the money is inserted for the fake IDs was #110, the same number as the Mars' apartment.

Harry Hamlin (Aaron Echolls) and Lisa Rinna (Lynn Echolls) are married in real life. They have been married since 1997 and have two daughters.

Veronica is forced to perform at a karaoke bar and sings Blondie's "One Way or Another." (Kristen Bell) has won several roles in musicals over the years.
