Short summary

Veronica is hired by the campus newspaper to do an undercover expose on the Zeta Theta sorority sisters during rush week to investigate Parker's rape. Throughout the investigation, Veronica realizes that everything is not exactly what as seems in the sorority house. Meanwhile, Logan and Wallace participate in a prisoner/guard role-playing experiment for their Sociology class, which challenges them psychologically.

The sociology experiment that Logan (Jason Dohring) & Wallace participate in is modeled after the infamous Stanford prison experiment, although in the original, the experiment got a lot more out of hand and was suspended after just six days.

The prison guard experiment done in is this episode is similar to an experiment by the same name done in the Stanford university. There have also been couple of movies based on this experiment - Das Experiment (2001) & The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015).

The county Keith (Enrico Colantoni) finds after walking through the desert is called Kretchmer County. It is named after John T. Kretchmer, the director of this episode as well as many previous episodes

The title of this episode references the film, My Big Fat Greek Wedding (2002).

Dick (Ryan Hansen), confused that Veronica (Kristen Bell) is rushing a sorority refers to an alternate reality where "Bizarro-Dick" is a "killjoy." This is a reference to Bizarro World (also known as Htrae--"Earth" spelled backwards), the DC Comics universe in which society is ruled by the Bizarro Code requiring that everything be done the opposite of how Earth would do it. The sitcom Seinfeld (1989) popularized the phrase ""Bizarro World" in episode 8.3 Seinfeld: The Bizarro Jerry (1996), to mean a situation which is weirdly inverted or the opposite of expectations.

Writer Phil Klemmer was the writer who originally who wanted to use the Stanford Prison Experiment in an episode, but the episode ended up going to Diane Ruggiero.

The Sheriff's office that Keith (Enrico Colantoni) finds after wandering in the desert has a sign indicating it's for Kretchmer County. John T. Kretchmer is a director for the show, and directed this episode.

When Logan (Jason Dohring) is entering the class by the end of the episode and is supposedly naked, it can clearly be seen that he's wearing shorts or boxers.

Schoolhouse Rock! (1973) was a series of short musical cartoons that aired during Saturday morning children's programming that taught grammar, science, economics, history, mathematics, and civics concepts.

This episode had a viewership of approximately 2.96 million viewers when it first aired.

Despite being credited, Francis Capra (Weevil) and Chris Lowell (Piz) do not appear in this episode.

Dan Castellaneta plays a professor named Dr Kinny in this episode. In one scene he gives another character a dressing down to which that character exclaims, D'oh!" This is the catch phrase of Castellaneta's best-known character, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons (1989).
