Short summary
The day the special was shot it was so hot no animals could be seen so all shots including animals had to be redone.
Because there was no legal documentation saying the crowds at the Animal Kingdom could be filmed and broadcasted, the crew dressed as park-goers and walked through the shot. They would then change clothes and walk back, repeating this until the shot was finished.
