For the second time during Steve Allen's tenure as host, Henry Morgan failed to return from a break in taping. This time, the February 14th, 1966 show aired live, followed by the taping of this episode on the same date. When Henry failed to return in a timely manner between shows, the guest star from the live February 14th broadcast, Phyllis Diller, pitched in to appear as a guest panelist. Henry showed up two-thirds through the taping, was relegated to a folding chair beside the panelists' desk and was not allowed to play.
