This movie was loosely based on the true story that really happened and this incident was also made into a TV movie, radio show, stage play and written into a short novels, all of which are far better than this movie.

The reason why this movie is whe worst of all is because the film crew tried unsuccessfully to dramatize the story by adding too much fake. For example, there was only one victim in the accident, nobody died. The only victim was was the woman who was badly injured and eventually made full recovery under the taxi driver's care, with the help of the victim's mother.

To add the dramatic effect, the film crew added the fake character of the woman's brother who was killed, and even worse, added the romantic relationship between the woman and the driver. Such addition was so unrealistic that the audience found it completely unacceptable. It appears that the driver is some kind obsessive psycho lover who could not get the woman, and had to resort to the trick of first injuring her and then play the hero to get his love.

This is why such poor attempt of the dramatization is extremely lousy and all other productions such as the radio show, stage play and the TV movie were much better because they all told the real story as it really happened.
