Frank's line about the crate wrapped in green plastic wasn't in the original version of the teleplay. "Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ," by Lew Wallace, was published in 1880 and was the all-time best selling novel in the US until "Gone with the Wind." With the success of the film, the novel became #1 again. The book is still in the Top Fifty, its ranking depending upon the source.

The executive producers loved working with Marin Ireland again on Season 2.They have said that Marin's great strength is that she's an amazing dramatic actress but also has the ability to be hilarious and is willing to do wild and goofy things on camera.

According to the creative team, the story of how Lila and Danny died is not completely figured out. The team discussed a plausible hypothetical storyline that could provide a solid foundation for future plot.
