Short summary

On his death bed, Rodney Van der Graff tells the incredible tale about a group of blue collar soccer (football) players who take on the more privileged athletes for the state championships. There, they have to overcome the odds and fight not only their opponents, but their volatile and clueless head coach who has a history of violence.
